Looking for a Beta-Reader/Editor (urgent)

Urgently seeking a Beta-Reader/Editor!

Update Oct 20th: I believe that I’ve found help, please still leave a comment if you’re interested as things are still transitioning. I’m getting back on track with writing and should be releasing Chapter 9 within the week! I’ll be updating using the chatbox on the main page, so check there.

My editor has let me know that real life work commitments are getting to be quite a bit to handle so they are stepping away from this story. This *does not mean* that I am walking away myself, I was always one hundred percent committed to finishing. However, I now find myself in need of a beta-reader/person to bounce ideas off of. I was pretty spoiled with my editor and now do feel a bit nervous about continuing this on my own.

If anyone would like to volunteer for the job please drop me a comment letting me know. You don’t need to include an email address (I’d prefer you not to for privacy), I can see email addresses as an administrator so I’ll send a direct email myself.

As such Chapter 9 is probably going to be delayed until I can sort this situation out, I can’t just release a chapter not beta-read, I’d prefer to put out quality rather than stress out over a release schedule.

Apologies to those who were looking forward to Chapter 9, I want to release this myself as soon as possible.  In case you’re wondering I do have 75% written already.

Ho what a sad news! I hope and pray that you’ll find quickly a kind soul to help you. I really support you and I’ll wait patiently for the next chapter release. Fighting!

I know I was quite spoiled with my editor but hopefully someone will offer to take up the reins at least for beta-reading. If not, I will continue of course, I’m not going to stop writing. This is just a hiccup. And thanks for the support!

I know, but I understand people and real life. Hopefully the writing won’t be too impacted, in the end it is my story. I think I managed to find a beta-reader so I may be slow in releasing Chapter 9 as the new person settles in but I’ll keep writing!

I’m so sorry- I would love to help edit but I’m already so overwhelmed with work. 😦 I’m glad you may have found someone, can’t wait to see what’s in store next with this story! You’re incredibly talented!

Thanks for even thinking of offering! I have found someone, it’s just going to take us a couple of days to settle into a new rhythm. But the new chapter will be up sometime this week! In the meantime I’ve been figuring out storyline details, character development, etc.

So happy to hear the good news! I believe everyone (the readers & even silent readers here) wanted to help 😀

Awww, thanks! I’m hard working on Chapter 9, it’s another intense chapter as things keep ramping up. (Really though, all of the chapters are pretty intense.) I’m just fleshing out a few bits about Min-jin, he’s a pretty interesting character that’s all sorts of grey the more I delve into him…

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I’m not giving up, don’t worry. I’ve got quite a few people that are helping out, which is awesome considering real life just started ramping up as I now have one month till launch date…. Dear God. In the meantime I’m hard at work on Chapter 9!

Hi, I actually just started reading your story and I quite like it. It seems like you have found somebody to help you out, but if ever you need help in the future, I would be glad to do so. I’m a Canadian technical translator, so I do not handle litterature daily (except for my downtime reading), but I’ll be glad to help in whichever way I can if ever you need it.
